El próximo libro de Bob Dylan, The Philosophy of Modern Song, estará acompañado por una edición de audiolibro con la voz de Dylan junto a una serie de actores de renombre.

Uncut reveló que la voz de Dylan se escucharía narrando el audiolibro completo de siete horas, junto con las de Jeff Bridges, Steve Buscemi, John Goodman, Oscar Isaac, Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno, Sissy Spacek, Alfre Woodard, Jeffrey Wright y Renee Zellweger. Es probable que los actores agreguen carácter a lo que los editores del libro han descrito como “una serie de riffs de ensueño que, en conjunto, se asemejan a un poema épico y se suman a la trascendencia de la obra”.

En marzo, la editorial Simon & Schuster anunció que el libro, en el que Dylan explora 66 canciones notables, se publicará el 1 de noviembre, 12 años después de que el cantautor comenzara a trabajar en él.
